The Problem

The lift became unusable due to the failure of various worn and obsolete components located in the existing lift control panel. With the site being a residential nursing home the lift is a fundamental part of the daily routine and is essential for the resident’s quality of life.

The Solution

To replace existing control panel with modern microprocessor V.V.V.F (variable voltage, variable frequency) control panel.

The usual lead in time to obtain this type of equipment is 8 weeks. We were able to obtain a suitable replacement, and successfully carried out the manufacture and installation within 3 weeks of receipt of the order. Whilst the lift was out of action, a temporary stair lift was installed to enable residents to gain access to the upper floors.
